Scott Bunker, Director of Golf

Class A PGA Member Scott Bunker is Director of Golf at Red Mountain Ranch Country Club. Scott was again recognized by Golf Digest as a Top 10 Instructor in Arizona in their 2008/2009 poll. He has been on their list every year since 2000. Scott was named Teacher of the Year by the Southwest PGA in 2000. He was previously Director of Instruction with the John Jacob's Golf Schools, starting his golf teaching career there in 1979.

Scott has taught all over the world teaching golfers from beginners to professionals. He currently offers private lessons to members as well as clinics to beginners, men, women and juniors. He runs his summer junior camp at Red Mountain Ranch Country Club every summer. Scott and his wife Mary have three boys, Jeffrey, Ryan and Kyle.

Sean King, Assistant Golf Professional

Sean King is one of the many talented Assistant Golf Professionals at RMRCC. He spent his whole life around the game of golf. From caddying, to working outside services, to now working as an Assistant Professional, giving lessons and helping our members in any way he can is what keeps him smiling at work. Born and raised in East Lansing, Mi. he spent many summers up north enjoying the small-town atmosphere along with the numerous lakes and beaches. Since moving to Arizona, he has started a family and enjoys spending as much of his free time with them as possible. He also enjoys going to Phoenix Coyote hockey games and making the trip up to Las Vegas to try his luck on the tables. To book a lesson with Sean, email him at

Brett Paquet, Assistant Golf Professional

Brett was born and raised in St Louis, MO. He moved away to pursue a career playing golf professionally when he was 20. Traveling the country competing for 15 years in PGA Tour, Web.Com, mini-tours, and state opens. He has had experience caddying at all levels, teaching, and outside service jobs all over the country. After wintering in Florida and Arizona to practice in the off season for many years, he moved to Arizona to call it home in 2005.   

He is passionate about teaching golfers at any level, with their golf games. He has an understanding of the needs of the students he teaches to achieve their goals.   He was married in 2008, and started a family shortly after, and now has two daughters that he loves spending time with. Jamie Harris, Director of Instruction,

John Jacobs Golf Academies at Red Mountain Ranch Country Club

Jamie was born and raised in Royal Tunbridge Wells, England and began playing golf at the age of five. He was British Junior Champion in 1993 and represented Britain in both the European and World Championships in 1994. Following this Jamie attended Brevard CC in Florida during which time he won the Southern Intercollegiate Championship in Alabama and finished runner up in the Florida State Championship. As an amateur Jamie held numerous course records including the amateur course record at British Open venue Royal St Georges on his way to winning the Grand Challenge, one of the most prestigious event's in amateur golf which includes Jack Nicklaus as a former winner.

Jamie's playing career has seen him compete in countries all over the world including Japan, Australia, South Africa and America, during which time Jamie competed on the European Tour and also qualified for the British Open at St Andrews in 2000 courtesy of shooting a course record 63 in qualifying. Jamie is also one of a small number of people in the world who have shot 59 in a professional tournament.

Since winding down his playing career Jamie has been focusing on teaching golfers of all ages and abilities ranging from complete beginners to professionals, sharing much of the knowledge he has gained from some of the best players and coaches in the game. Jamie's instruction covers all aspects of the game paying particular attention to the short game which offers golfers of all abilities the best opportunity to reduce their score. In Jamie's words "Golf is a great game but it's certainly more fun when we play well".
